Proposed Solution: Lobster Fish Farming

While Pisciculture can be applied to fish farming of
any type, Brandeefy Analytic decided to focus building an
optimum solution to back the lobster farming sector.
As per 2021, India exported $535K in lobster
(prepared or preserved) securing 16th position globally.
The purpose of this solution is to build an optimum
solution to prevent common diseases that spreads
among the lobster. The solution will keep check of the
dissolved oxygen to prevent untimely death. Moreover,
the solution is intended to bypass manual inspection
by implementing an efficient automated tool.

To develop an IoT solution for disease prevention and automated monitoring in lobster farming, ensuring optimal conditions and enhanced productivity.

PROJECT SUMMARY

At Brandeefy, we are dedicated to developing an IoT-based solution specifically tailored for the lobster farming sector within pisciculture, recognizing its significant economic value — highlighted by India’s INR 649 billion fish and fishery product exports in 2023.

The primary objective of our project is to prevent common diseases, reduce mortality rates, and automate monitoring processes to enhance overall production efficiency. Our system utilizes advanced IoT sensors to continuously monitor critical water quality parameters, including dissolved oxygen levels, which are vital for lobster survival.

By eliminating manual inspections, our automated tool leverages machine learning algorithms for real-time data collection and analysis, offering early disease detection and predictive insights to support optimal farm management.

With a user-friendly interface accessible via web and mobile applications, farmers can easily monitor their farms, receive instant alerts, and make informed, data-driven decisions. This ultimately leads to improved survival rates, higher productivity, and increased operational efficiency.

Looking ahead, we aim to integrate advanced analytics for predictive maintenance and AI-driven models to optimize feeding schedules and growth rates, paving the way for the next generation of smart aquaculture solutions.
